Don't Neglect These Spots
There’s nothing like the feel of a clean car. From bumper to bumper, a clean car retains its value better for years and often increases resale or trade-in value with evidence of long-term care.

A weekly wash through our tunnel at Snap Clean is the best way to prevent paint damage and protect your paint job from exterior wear, but there are some areas that our machines simply cannot clean. We want to make it easy to help you get the most out of your wash experience at Snap Clean, including helping you detail like a pro. That’s why we offer free spray cleaner and microfiber cloths to help you clean out the interior and any hard-to-reach areas on the outside of your vehicle.

As the end of the summer travel season nears and students prepare to return to school, it’s a great time for a deep clean and reset of your cleaning priorities. Ready to do a clean that goes beyond the tunnel wash? Focus on these key areas:
Interior:
Sliding seat rails. Have you ever cleaned the seat rails that allow front to back movement of your car seats? Most people never do!
Seatbelt buckles and belts. These areas may look clean, but they can harbor a lot of funky germs. Often touched, never cleaned!
Map pockets and cup holders. Spilled your coffee lately? There’s probably some cupholder residue. Have kids? Your map pockets have mystery gunk, guaranteed.
Floor mats. You might be surprised how much dust can remain in the floor mats. Remove them and knock as much dust out as possible in addition to vacuuming.
Air vents. Ragweed season is coming in hot. Clean out those air vents of dust and lingering spring pollen and wipe the vents regularly. Your allergies will thank you.

Exterior:
Gas cap and fuel tank cover. It just feels like a letdown when you wash your car and then realize the covered area under the gas cap flap hasn’t been cleaned.
Door jams and hinges. Wipe these areas out with our microfiber cloths! This extra step will make your vehicle feel like you took it to a professional detailer.
Engine Vent Panel. Leaves, acorns, pollen from the springtime and possibly some rodent droppings accumulate here. Knock it out with a leaf blower before your next visit.
Wheel wells and undercarriage. In Texas, we often forget about these areas since our roads aren’t salted in winter, and rust is less of a concern.
Roofs. If you’ve got an SUV, it’s easy to neglect the roof of the car. Double check for bird droppings and sap here. Let us know if this area needs extra attention. Our staff can help you identify the best wash.
Does your car feel a little grimy? Visit Snap Clean today for a professional wash. Our friendly team will have you back on the road in no time!
